“He allowed himself to be swayed by his conviction that human beings are not born once and for all on the day their mothers give birth to them, but that life obliges them over and over again to give birth to themselves.” ----Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Love in the Time of Cholera

Master thief, freelancing secret agent, international man of mystery, wine enthusiast, and escaped bioweapon - Jean-Philippe wears many hats. He's spent most of his life playing James Bond and now he's stuck playing Metal Gear Solid. It is what it is.

He can be a bit overbearing sometimes, but Jean-Philippe is generally rather pleasant - some might even say charming. It's not always sincere, mind you; his past has left him rather cagey and suspicious, but he defaults toward politeness and suavity and that tends to win him a lot of friends. Anyone who's actively paying him shoots to the top of the list, as do any fellow victims of Weapon Plus (who aren't doing the program's bidding, of course - see below for those). He's also well-disposed towards his former comrades in SHIELD, as well as other mutants, and will often go out of his way to do them a good turn....although that necessarily ends if he's on the payroll of their enemies.

There isn't enough space and electrons on the internet to make this a comprehensive list. Everywhere you go, somebody wants Jean-Philippe captured, shot, imprisoned, or all of the above. SHIELD, HYDRA, numerous law enforcement agencies, Weapon Plus in general and the Weapon XIII project personnel in particular, various terror groups, any number of opposed mercenary elements, the Sokovia Accords Council, superheroes, supervillains - you name them, chances are at least one or two of them have it out for the white ghost. His actual identity is well-concealed, thanks to the mask and his general secrecy, but there's bound to be a few people on either side who can connect the dots. I mean, if nothing else, DNA analysis exists.

You got the money? He's got the skills. I think we can work something out.

Conversely, you got hired to oppose him on something? He won't take it personally. It's just business.

Ah, cherchez la femme. Or l'homme, or the monogendered alien, or the sapient AI, or....look, if you're within a twenty foot radius, expect to catch a pickup line in a lilting French accent. This is a disarming mechanism meant to play into the stereotype; he is generally not at all serious about it and if you fall for the 'smooch under the Spanish moss in the moonlight' ploy, you can expect to end up relieved of your priceless artwork / state secrets / exotic sniper rifle. That's not to say Jean-Philippe isn't sometimes sincere about his interests, just....keep an eye on your hard drives.
